Aaaaand we’re back to the 2012 recaps. This one is going to be a doozy. I haven’t blogged a single feature or contest win from last year, so this post has the potential to be slightly overkill. But I’m going for it anyway. A lot of these events never even showed up on this blog, yet they were featured all over the web & the images now grace the pages of pinterest.  The couples that are featured in each of these posts deserve the fanfare, so this is for them. Big thanks to you guys for having me as part of your stunning events. For a year I coined as the year of no goals, some pretty big things happened. Can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store…

First up, Kate & Quinton’s Kiawah Island Rehearsal Dinner featured on Inspired by This. Click the image below to see the full feature. You might have seen this red truck all over pinterest. Their images have been pinned 6 billion times. True story.

Carrie & Will’s rustic farm wedding featured on Elizabeth Anne Designs. Click on image to take you to the full feature:

Editorial shoot for Stoneleigh Estate featured on Ruffled Blog. Kelsey with Marilyn’s Agency was the perfect model for the job. This Jenny Packham gown was made for her, and these images are all over pinterest.

Chris & Anna’s gorgeous cake by Flower & Flour, featured on Brides.com:

Lynn & Stefan’s tearful first look featured on Moment Junkie:. Also all over pinterest now :)Lynn & Stefan’s Pippin Hill Farm wedding featured on Elizabeth Anne Designs: Kelsey & Brandon’s beautiful vintage inspired wedding, featured on Southern Weddings blog. Their wedding is seriously pinterest famous.. Jenna’s dance with her dad, featured in Issue 19 of Utterly Engaged, the emotion issue. Invited to be a part of Junebug Weddings “Best of the Best” Photographers in the World. Huge honor. You can check out my listing by clicking the image below:

Won 4th place in the AGWPJA’s Reception category. Love this image of Jenna’s dance with her dad. Such sweet emotion. And I saved the best for last. The biggest happy-dance inducing moment of my business in 2012 was winning my first Fearless Award. I had only joined the Fearless site a short 2 months prior to entering this contest, so it was a huge surprise to win my first time entering. Could not be more thrilled to have this image from Kari & Cole’s 2009 wedding as my first Fearless Award. It embodies everything I stand for as an artist. Real, raw & genuine moments that take your breath away. Click below to see my listing on Fearless.
