I’m sure you guys are sick of hearing me talk about how much I adore my couples, but you’re gonna have to bear with me here…this couple deserves every bit of the props I’m about to give them….

If I could fit every email Robyn has sent me over the past year, I would cut & paste them all right here in this blog so you can see for yourself what a bright light she is. Not only did she & Jordan change their wedding date ( not once, but TWICE) to have me as their photographer, they did the greatest thing any couple in the history of my studios has ever done…. they planned for almost a full hour of portrait time at the end of their wedding day ( gasp!). It was MAGICAL. The feel of the day was so serene and beautiful…it was truly the perfect Sunday afternoon wedding.

To be able to take the time to walk around the UNC campus & venture to all of the spots that have been so special to them throughout their relationship was just the icing on the cake. A few more highlights included: the insanely beautiful light in the rooms at the Franklin, the wonderfully heartfelt toast Jordan’s dad & brother gave, and another first for me…the entire reception breaking out the Thriller routine!! I’m pretty sure my jaw hit the floor at that moment, and from now on anytime I hear Thriller I’ll think of Robyn & Jordan :)

Now on with the pics!

I love this shot. It perfectly sums up Jordan for the gentleman he is… all of you gals who think chivalry is dead…think again :)

  1. LOVE it! Can I just say I love that the dress was hanging on a nice hanger!!! Very impressive. ;) All your images make me feel so warm and fuzzy inside Kellie. I love love love the long shadow shot near the end. Beautiful. :)

  2. Kellie! These are gorgeous and I’m so excited about our engagement session and wedding day photos! My favorites are the one in front of the curtains (facing each other, holding hands) and the one of their feet (because I’m obsessed with adorable feet shots). :) Can’t wait to hear what the bride has to say about these…

  3. Oh Kellie you never ever cease to amaze me. I love how warm and creamy all of these are. Simply lovely.

  4. Kellie, as always, your photos are divine. I love them. I’ve been waiting for weeks for a new wedding from you, and it’s finally here! Yay! These are just so beautiful!

  5. Robyn: Kellie!!! What a FANTASTIC one month anniversary gift!! W-O-W. We knew the photos would be amazing, but really we’re just speechless!!! We would like 10 canvases, please! :) There’s just too many favorite shots! THANK YOU, Kellie. (And THANK YOU too, Leah! We know it wasn’t an easy hike around campus with all that equipment, but seriously amazing shots! Esp. the one on the crosswalk!)
We will have to see each other again – whether it be for an anniversary session, babies, puppies, or just because we happen to be in town. :)
Jordan: Kellie, what wonderful photographs! Taking our time to scroll through these together brought back a flood of such beautiful memories. Your shots capture by lens an otherworldly quality that I thought I was only seeing in my mind. You took the most important day in my life and captured it for us forever. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you.

  6. OMG, I love everything about this wedding. Those shots around campus are amazing. Yay you!

  8. These photos are absolutely lovely. They really do have a dream-like quality that Robyn and Jordan will look back on for a lifetime and remember their special day just as they felt it. What a beautiful bride!! ;)

  9. Beautiful photos. They really capture the excitement and emotions of the day. Especially the ones of Robyn and her family.
